Christmas Island for Christmas

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 7 January 2017 by Chinwagger14 August 2022

The reason for travelling to Christmas Island at Christmas is to see the red crab migration, it hadn’t occurred to me to study this in any great detail before leaving and so I wasn’t really sure what to expect.

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 1 October 2013 by Chinwagger16 August 2022

Sometimes things just don’t go as right as they could and sometimes when that happens particular people are always present. You get the feeling that perhaps, just perhaps they have a little bit influence, it could be some sort of bad air or perhaps it’s a form of karma attached to your relationship with that person. Just maybe, a bit anyway, or is it because they are around you get nervous about what might happen. When you’re in this state of mind things happened anyway, and you may have to call HELP!

Gazza Curse Again

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 15 September 2013 by Chinwagger5 June 2021

With the motor cut I needed Gazza to stay calm and hold us off the launch while I hung over the back to reach the rope and untangle it. The panic levels in the crew could be gauged by the loudness it was barking nonsense orders, we were close to mutiny.
