Last day in Lord Howe

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 22 March 1997 by Chinwagger9 January 2016

You know when your Holiday is ending, everything starts to run out. You use the last tea bag, the milks gone, the cereals out, the soap is nearly finished and the beer has vanished. Today was that day the last day. We spent this morning down at Ned’s Beach snorkel ling and feeding the fish. We are professionals now and we … Continue reading →

Long lunch at Lagoon Cafe

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 21 March 1997 by Chinwagger9 January 2016

We pottered around this morning. We decided to leave our bikes behind and walk around taking photographs. To tell the truth our back sides were so painful riding was a little bit out of the question.  As  we walked out, the sky got darker and we could see rain out to sea across the lagoon. Aunty Sues for dinner

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 20 March 1997 by Chinwagger10 January 2016

Snorkelling at North Beach

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 19 March 1997 by Chinwagger21 December 2017

Today was a lazy day we only snorkelled for an hour, walked for two hours and biked about ten kilometres. We went to North Beach by boat with a nice young guy called Peter. Peter had been on the island about six and a half years and was an experienced diving instructor. He took us to North Beach and then … Continue reading →

Ned’s Beach

Good Old Chinwagging Posted on 18 March 1997 by Chinwagger10 January 2016

We rode to Ned’s beach and snorkelled. The snorkelling was amazing as we moved in and around schools of huge fish. We stood on the each of the beach here and hand feed the fish at our feet. The sea boiled with fish as the whole process took on a feeding frenzy feel about it, with fish bunting your legs. The … Continue reading →
