Sturt Highway

It is not very often you wake up in the morning and decided to go on holiday, this year it is sort of what happened with our holiday. In deciding what to do, we thought, why don’t we just drive west and see where the roads would take us. Its summer and the Christmas holiday season so you would think there was a risk we might not find anywhere to stay.  It all adds to the fun of really doesn’t it?

We had never been west of the Olympic Highway and so we decided to head towards South Australia and see what happened. We would normally take the 4WD for the trip, however we had just taken possession of a new Holden Berlina and decided that it would be good to give this a decent run. So we packed our camping gear in the boot and backseat of the Holden and set off to see what we could find to our west and south.
