Invasion of the Insects
Invasion of the Insects
So I open a set of tiny draws that has nuts and bolts in it , just looking for an odd size screw. It explodes in Ants. Millions of ants in every draw, under the draws, back of the draws. Ants scatter in every direction carrying thousands of little white eggs. Argh I just wanted a bloody screw . now every draw needs emptying and cleaning.
I open the bottom draw of a chest of draws and its completely separate from the small draws and full size. I am simply looking for some tools and that explodes with ants, even more. ants. Again every draw needs emptying and cleaning. I have to drag it all outside and empty every draw clean down as wash. Creating and mist of insect spray light a holocaust of Ants millions dying in the clean up.
I turn the lights on in the Garage and the light above the work bench doesn’t come on, Bugger I simple turn off the lights remove the cover to take out the fluorescent tube. You guessed it, it explodes with ants, again millions of ants and these are above me they now cover my hands, land all over the body, in my hair, over my face, on my glasses. Shit. Time to get out the insect spray again. Now I am covered in dead ants. Shit.
I clean it all up, get a new fluorescent tube and put it in place, turn the lights on and nothing. Bugger.”Hey honey why don’t the electric hedge trimmers work” I hear from across the yard. Oh none of the lights work now, after a quick investigation I realise that the house power is also gone.
This is not going well. I go around to the main fuse box and find that the Solar power is not working and may not have been working for a while. When I open the fuse box I find that the Quick Trip for the power has gone. The mains have been turned off and the switches for Solar and sundry other things such as the outside power are buried in a giant mud nest built by some kind of mud wasp.
Now I have to scrape the mud nest off each and every switch and fuse in the main power box. What could possibly go wrong.
Note is power is back on but the light is still out.See how easy it will be to for the insects to take over.
